Ut oh

So today Kellie and I met up with some friends at the lake. We spent a few hours laying out...it was great. On the way home, I guess my water bottle leaked in my purse and got my camera, i-pod, and cell phone wet. Everything else in my purse was completely dry besides these 3 things. Ahhh. My i-pod is actually up and running, but my phone is acting all sketch and working off and on, and my camera isn't working at all. :(  Kellie's brother in law told me to take my camera and phone apart and put them in a bowl of rice for 24 hours--I guess the rice will help get all the moisture out. So...hopefully that works! Anyone else have this happen to them? Any suggestions to help my phone and camera heal? I'm really hoping for the best!

Bummer! thats the worst! yes my phone has been wet many of times, ha! but it actually dried itself out. My best advice would be to take the battery out at night and let it dry.. mine was totally wacked for a day or two, and then was all better!

I was cleaning my pool last year and was working on the deep end. I looked down and thought 'What the heck is that'. Then I realized it was my cell tele..........how that happened without me knowing is beyond belief. So I fished it out - took it apart and laid it out in the sun to dry. It worked forever after that! It was only after I dropped into my 32 oz. diet coke that it died and it hadn't been in that for but a few seconds. Guess that tells me something about my diet coke addiction, eh? Good luck with the dryout.............
