Not quite the trip to Logan that I planned on...
So, I got to Logan Thursday afternoon. First off, Logan is so pretty...I love it. And it's crazy the things that I remember from like 10 years ago when I last visited. Me and Nat drove around for a while, ran some errands and went to the famous Fredericos for dinner. On our way home my stomach started hurting way bad and I felt like I didn't have enough energy to get out of the car and walk up to Nats apartment...so we were sitting in the car for a little bit then all the sudden I felt it coming--I opened the car door and threw up on the side of the road. Sorry, I know it's gross. Anyways, that actually made me feel a lot better.....until I went to bed that night. I woke up twice during the night and made 2 visits to the bathroom. Yuck. It was honestly the worst night ever. I hate being sick. So anyways, this morning I felt somewhat better, but called my mom and she had called an Urgent Care place here in Logan for me to go to. So while Nat went off to classes, I was lucky enough to go to the urgent care. Side note: About a week ago--my glands got swollen (and still are), and I had a fever/aches/the whole sha-bang. Anyways, I spent 2 hours at the Urgent Care. They swabbed my throat for strep..which came out negative...which led me to getting my blood drawn. For those of you who know me..I am SUCH a wimp, and have never had my blood drawn before...so I was terrified. The doctor and nurse were SO nice and understanding though. However, of course the blood-drawing couldn't be an easy process for me. The nurse got the needle into my right arm, but the blood wouldn't come out. The same thing happened on the left arm, so she got another nurse to come in and try. The new nurse came in, poked me in my left arm vein, and the blood still wouldn't come out...so she had to fish around for my vein since they were "rolling". Ah. Luckily, she got the amount of blood she needed. I'm glad that's all over with..and that I survived my first blood work experience. Cuz really, I was like way way nervous to get it done. But still, so glad it's over with. So anyways, I waited in the little room for my blood results and the doctor finally came in to let me know that I have mono. Ew. (And no, I haven't kissed anyone recently..ha!) It's mostly just frustrating since school starts monday and its a busy semester for me...and my last semester as well. So hopefully this won't drown me out too much and I hope that I can stay on top of everything. They have me taking steroids so hopefully that'll give me a boost of energy each day too (and maybe some extra muscle tone too perhaps? :) ). So, we'll see how it all pans out!! I did make it up to Rexburg..just busy unpacking my room and meeting up with friends!

I hope you feel better soon! I almost passed out at work today! I got all dizzy & light headed, turned really pale, & was really shakey. I had to eat sugar & then I felt better. Im sad I didn't get to see you while you were home!

you are strong and healthy (when not with mono) so you will pull through healthy in no time..i, kellie parisek have a feeling :) anyway. i love you and i miss you.
the steriods will help you get that extra boost you need to start the new semester and you're body will take it from there. remember--you have already been through the worst (at least we think) but you said so yourself and you should know because you're the one going through it! anyway...i better end this message before it gets any longer! :)
