This past week I fell in love with NYC. I have been there before, but I
guess I forgot how big, fun and diverse the city actually is.
We did so much in the four days we were there....it was go-go-go. I
was going on about 3 or 4 hours of sleep a night while there...but
it's New York! I had to stay out late and play....
We got to our hotel Tuesday night--which was a block
away from Times Square--then a group of us hopped on
the subway and headed downtown to take the staten island
ferry! It gave us an incredible view of the city and
the statue of liberty!!
Some of us BYUI students on the ferry ride!
My Staten Island friends who I met on the ferry. Ha!
Central Park. I love how it's right in the middle of
Manhattan with all the apartments & skyscrapers surrounding it!
4th row seats at Wicked in the Gershwin=AMAZING!!!!!!!!
Delicious New York cheesecake for a midnight snack
at the cutest little cafe me and Alison came across in midtown!
Out and about going to appointments...we visited 13
companies in 3 days. It was busy, but such a good opportunity to
network and get a foot in the door with some top-notch places. It
made me excited to graduate and get into the working field!
We met with PR agencies, CNN--got to meet Glenn Beck and go
in his studio and stuff which was pretty awesome!, the United
Nations, LDS Public Affairs, PC magazine, publishing
houses, and more!
Amazing pasta dinner with gelato for dessert in Little Italy!!
Went for a walk on the Brooklyn Bridge! So pretty!

we need to go there together.
i am glad you are back now so we can talk more lol.
love ya! :)
You look so professional in your business attire! Look out Glen Beck! :) I wish I was there to hold your purse or something. Please do at least an intership there so we can all come visit. BTW- Love the song on your blog right now. I'm pretty sure one of the designers from Project Runway used that when they showed at Fashion Week which I found was very fitting for this post! :)
It sounds like you had a blast! I love all your outfits as well!
Looks like you had a great time!!:) New York is the BOmB.coM!!!
Looks like an amazing trip! How fun!
What an absolute blast!!! You are at such a fun time of life. BTW--the pic with Virgin Records sign...that is right where Giselle (from Enchanted) came out of the sewer hole in the street. When we were there this summer I was hoping for some spontaneous singing/dancing but it never happened. I like to think that show could really come to life. At any rate... I agree...you look like you could belong. You looked darling and professional in your business attire. I'm glad it was everything and more you hoped for. Keep us posted on what you are doing next to keep your foot in the door. Loves......
