Election 2008

Many of my classmates who I talked with today didn't vote. This bugs. No matter what political party involved in, people need to get out there and vote! I've heard so many people today say that their vote doesn't matter--but it does! It is a privilege we have to elect the President. So if you didn't vote this election, get ready for 2012. Oh ya, and congrats to Barack. It is kinda cool that he's the first african-american president.

I didn't vote. Why? Because I didn't like either of the candidates and I think the US is screwed either way. Also, I knew nothing about our local political candidates, so voting for one over the other would be wrong. If you don't know anything, don't vote. That's my opinion.

Oops..didn't mean to delete that last one! Anyway, you know I how feel...ready for the next 4-8 years! I don't think our country will fall apart to nothing or that the world will come to an end just because of this change. Oh, and I won't move to Canada either. :)

Ya, i don't think our country is going to fall apart...and I can still say that I am proud to be an American.

But, I still think that people need to get out and vote. I wasn't impressed with the choice of candidates either, but I feel like it is our responsibility to educate ourselves, be involved, and choose the candidate who we agree with most.

i agree with the fact that it is a duty almost as citizens to get out there and vote! we won't always like our choices but what else was there to do? we needed to try to learn who would be BEST qualified for our next president. I am sad to say the person chosen was not my first choice, haha...but i think there will be positive aspects his administration will bring to the white house.. enough of all this, "the world is coming to an end" ...thats a load of crap! haha. we need to have faith he is in office for a reason. :)
