Tomorrow will kick off my last week as a college student. 5 more days. I can't even describe how it feels. It's a bittersweet situation. I began my days at BYU-Idaho in June of 2005 when i was 17 years old. Never having been to Rexburg before, I had no clue what to expect. I didn't know what the town was like, how the campus would be, and didn't know a single person in the state of Idaho. I remember laying in my bed the first night in my apartment thinking I was crazy for coming up here by myself, and that I should have just stayed in AZ. Glad I didn't! I have made the BEST friends up here and have had many experiences and fun times that I'll never forget! Everything from surviving winters, bonfires at the sand dunes, classes, late night food runs, country dancing, trip to florida, bridge jumping, dance team, rodeos, running away from my teacher (thats for you kellie!), going through like a thousand MC's, trips to Yellowstone, Logan & Jacksonhole, late night talks, skiing for the first time, I-team spirit conferences, h&r, Porter Park, the third floor, dance parties, the Nordic, friends cabins in Island Park, dodgeball team, Rigby lake...and the list really could go on and on! Basically, the past 3 and a half years have been so fun! It feels weird to be completely done (well, almost!) and leaving this small town for good. I love BYUI, but am ready and excited for a change of pace. So, this Friday as I wear my cap and gown, I'll be saying my final goodbye to Rexburg, and thanking it for all the good memories!
