So, here is an excerpt of an article I read while on the subway this morning....."People have seen them [rats] sitting on benches," says Andrew Albert, an MTA board member and chair of the NYC Transit Riders Council. "From what riders have told us, they appear to be getting bolder." That's the subway rat population he's talking about, which many commuters say is surging, at least according to an amNY article that's teeming with great quotes. "Next thing you know the doors are going to open and one is going to come on the train with us," one exterminator predicts.
I have seen 4 rats since I moved here.
That is 4 too many.

I think that is one of the things I am most afraid of in NYC--that and cockroaches... but rats far surpass them.
PS I am happy to find that you have a blog as well. ;)
Memories of Scabbers and Gus...nasty. Gives me serious shivers.
ew.
I remember us talking about how much we hate rats.
One word: disgusting. All I can say is that you might make some new found friends in NYC - friends that are a little too small and too hairy for my liking. Ew.
remember shauna you are one of them... gidget.
on 2nd thought...you are in nyc, so maybe you need to be like enchanted and sing to them and make them your friends. :)
That's it, I'm not coming anymore...j/k. Just sing them the happy little working song! :)
Amen - you know my rat stories!
