This story was shared at institute tonight. I liked it.
One evening, a boy and his Dad were walking along a beaten dirt road. The road split into two and neither the Dad or son had any idea of what direction they should go. It was getting dark outside and they decided to stop and say a prayer asking for guidance. They both felt prompted to go left and began walking. However, just a short distance down the road, it came to a dead end. As they turned around, the boy expressed his concern and confusion why they would both feel prompted to go the wrong way. The Dad looked at his son and explained how sometimes we go down the wrong path first so we are able to learn and be confident that the other way is definitely the right way.

Reminds me of when we got lost on our bikes in Sunriver - prayed where we should go and lo and behold, there was my dad! Love the story!
