Jac in NYC!

Jacque ventured out to the east coast to visit! Saying we had a good time would be an understatement---we had SO much fun while out and about on the streets of Manhattan. I loved having her here. Here are some highlights of the past 5 days........

1. Times Square. 

2. Broadway shows.

We were lucky enough to see In the Heights. I've seen it 3 times now and still LOVE it. We waited outside after the show and felt like 13 year olds as we asked for autographs and pictures with the cast. It was awesome! Saturday afternoon we were walking through Times Square and spontaneously bought matinee tickets to Mary Poppins. Also so good! Love broadways. 

3. Fifth Ave.

Walked and shopped along 5th Ave. Stopped in Trump Tower, The Plaza, FAO Schwartz and many of the ritzy, high-end fashion stores.

4. Staten Island Ferry.

We rode the SI Ferry Saturday night which gave us a great view of the Statue of Liberty and the city skyline!
5. Canal St & Chinatown.

Shopped along Canal St which basically turns into Chinatown. One street is full of designer sunglasses and purses and the next is lined with little markets of half-alive fish and other unidentifiable foods slash creatures. Yikes.
6. Serendipity.

Yes, it was 12:15am when we went, and there was still a 45 minute wait at such a late hour---but we got our frozen hot chocolate! Well worth it. It was delish. 

7. Little Italy.

This is one of the cutest places in NYC. A little street lined with busy Italian restaurants and gelato shops. 

8. Brunch.

You can't ask for a better morning after a run in Central Park followed by a yummy brunch at Sarabeths! 

It was great having her visit....except for one thing....it went by too fast! Thanks for coming Jac!
