Happy Birthday to Ana, my Macedonian sister! Five summers ago (has it already been that long?!) I had the opportunity to be part of a student exchange program and lived in Skopje, Macedonia with Ana's family for 5 weeks. It was one of the best summers ever! We toured all over the city, traveled to small villages, to beautiful Lake Ohrid, walked ancient ruins, spent a weekend in Greece and then she came to spend time in the US with my family! Thanks for all the good memories Ana--and happy 23rd!

I'm missing all my "other" daughters tonight....two from China and one from Macedonia!! You do look young, Shauna. I hope I get to visit all their homes one day......wishful thinking.....
