I received a package from my NY bestie, Sarah today. Her and I share a special love for the broadway In the Heights. We may be a little obsessed but its well worth it. The show is beyond awesome. Anyways, I opened the package and pulled out an In the Heights playbill. Right on the front cover it says "Good luck Shauna!" along with the signature of Christopher Jackson. For those of you who don't know who Christopher Jackson is...he plays the character of Benny in In the Heights. He's my fave in the show. He is so talented! I was able to meet him a couple times after seeing the show but I'd be so twitterpaited it took all my strength to muster out "you did a great job tonight". But thanks to Sarah, who told Chris Jackson she has a friend who loves him and is leaving the country for a year and a half, I now have a personal note from him wishing me good luck. Its going in a frame. MADE MY DAY!
