I promise I'm not that bad of a driver. Up until two months ago I had only been pulled over once since I turned 16 (for something that wasn't even my fault btw). However, within the past two months I have been pulled over a total of....drum roll please...three times. I know, I know....EEEK. I'm ashamed to admit it. But seriously, I think the SLC Police Department has it out to get me. I don't know why...perhaps it is because I am new to the downtown area and am still getting used to driving 25mph on a perfectly normal, large street where I feel like I should at least be going 40. Ha. Or...maybe they could hear my Jesse McCartney blasting from a couple lanes over and were concerned. Or...I think it's mostly because the cops are bored here in SLC and are just camped out waiting to find whoever is going 3mph over the speed limit. Hm. Anyways, I am totally paranoid status while driving these days. Even though I was only ticketed one out of the three times....it is my new goal to not go over the speed limit at all from here on out. Safety first. And really, I don't want to pay anymore tickets. Lesson learned!
