I love General Conference!
Along with hearing from our church leaders and ''scalping'' tickets
to make it inside the conference center, the highlight of this
weekend was seeing Nat, I mean Hermana Sargent, after
the Saturday afternoon session. I was secretly hoping I'd somehow
see her but wasn't sure if it would really happen.
But it did. And seriously you guys, it was incredible!!
First off, didn't the MTC choir sound so good?
Second off, I love how Nat was sporting a leopard-print belt.
She came walking out of the building, instantly made eye-contact
with me and was SO surprised.
She rushed through the crowd of other missionaries and we gave each other
the biggest hug ever with happy tears and big smiles on our faces.
We were able to chat for about ten minutes before they got on the busses.
It was seriously the best. She is doing amazing.
She looked absolutely adorable and when I told
her how we love her emails and that she seems happy she just looked
at me and said ''I am so happy, Shauna'' and went
on to tell me about how she's enjoying the MTC.
This was such a special ten-minutes that I'll always remember.
She's such a great example to me and the people of Chile are so lucky to have her there soon!
