Homemade brownies, vanilla ice-cream and an in-depth discussion about Elizabeth Smart's book, My Story, made for a successful 'Ladies Only Book Club' meeting.
Read that book. She's not much of a writer but her story is compelling. What I loved is how she didn't get into the nitty gritty details of things (sometimes I wish she would have!) but it was all done in good taste. I appreciated that. Did you know that Dani was doing a rotation during nursing school at the Mental hospital and she was in a group session of a few of the patients. She was there to observe. She was sitting by this man who gave her the creeps. She kept looking at him and thinking 'Why do I know this guy?' It was David Brian Mitchell.........gives me the chills just thinking about it.
