The past month or so has just been so good. Winter is turning into Spring which has made the days longer and warmer - and that alone just really makes my soul happy. I'm a true AZ girl at heart and truly need the sun in my life!

In other news - I have officially known my husband for over a year now. It was just last March when he moved into my singles ward in Sugar House. We sat by each other in Sunday School on his second Sunday in the ward - he got my number after class and we set up a time to play tennis later that week. So just a few days later, on a Wednesday evening, he picked me up for our first date. I honestly thought it was just going to be like any other casual first date and was thinking I'd be gone for an hour or two max. But the date quickly turned into more. We went back to his place and ended up making dinner, having a great convo in his living room, watching HSM (since we played tennis at East High!), and we even had our first kiss. I know, I know...kissing on the first date. But hey, I was pretty smitten. I even remember calling my mom the day after and being like ''Mom! This guy! He just seems so great!'' Two months later we were engaged.
This past year really has been the greatest. It's crazy how fast the time has gone by, but at the same time it's hard to remember life pre-Tom. I just feel so lucky he's mine.
