DENMARK

Originally we were just supposed to have a layover in Copenhagen, but we decided to turn it into our first stop of the trip and I'm so glad we did. Denmark was pretty dreamy...the Rosenborg castle, danish pastries (the raspberry bars!), seeing soo many people on their bikes, and boating through the canals of Copenhagen. We also got to attend church in Copenhagen (once we found it after google maps took us to the wrong place a couple of times!) and stop by the Denmark temple really quick before heading to the airport!

ITALY

Our next stop: ROME!

Italy was on the top of both of our ''places to visit'' lists, and probably ended up being our favorite stop on this trip. Even though we loved Denmark and Spain, there was just something about Rome that was magical. The cobblestone streets, the culture, our cute Airbnb apartment, the food (the bruschetta and gelato were my fave), and the history. Seriously, there is SO much history in Rome and so many places and sites to visit. Walking through Ancient Rome with ruins from the 1st century surrounding us was pretty amazing. I especially enjoyed our audio tour while touring the Coloseeum. We also spent a day exploring Christian Rome touring the Vatican and going inside the Sistine Chapel. I loved our late-night walks around cute neighborhoods, eating gelato, and sitting by lit-up fountains in the cutest plazas. Like I said, it was pretty magical. Grazie Rome for being so fabulous!

SPAIN

We spent our last few days of the trip in Barcelona, Spain. Our first night there we went to this seafood market for dinner where you look at all the seafood options, order how much you want of everything, and they cook it up for you right then and there. Seriously, so good! Besides the seafood we enjoyed the sunshine (it was warm!), eating lunch on Barcelonata Beach, touring La Sagrada Familia, the Gothic Quarter, Park Guell, the Olympic Village,  and soaking in the Spanish culture.

Europe, thanks for being so good to us. We definitely hope to see more of you!
