new places.

Yesterday I went jogging and ended up exploring some new places while doing so! First off, I didn't realize how close my apartment is to the Hudson River...only about a block and a half away. There are trails that go along the river and it's so fun to see all the ferries, buildings, and New Jersey right there on the other side! Also--before heading home I had to pick up some groceries. Now, there are grocery stores and little markets EVERYWHERE here. It's kinda hard to know which stores are good, sell a box of cereal for less than 8 bucks, etc. My roommate told me about this one called Garden of Eden which is just a couple blocks from my apartment. So I decided to stop in and I totally fell in love with this little grocery store. Seriously, so cute. It instantly reminded me of a grocery store you'd see on You've Got Mail or something. Definitely no Albertsons or Costco here. I love it.

My favorite truck stop between here and Logan is called The Garden of Eden. It sure doesn't look like your store! Boy do we ever live in different worlds! Looks like you are having a blast and making the most of every second you have there!

I want to visit the Garden of Eden when we come! Amazing how differently the East coast shops for groceries. It really does look like the movies.

PS The comment by Dyan was really me. So I deleted it and wrote it under my name. Will I ever figure out these darn computers? Ugh!
